Neutral Spine (supine)

Finding your Neutral Spine is the foundation of safe movement. By protecting the spine, we can safely mobilise the limbs and challenge ourselves. In time, you will automatically come to your Neutral Spine position without having to think too much about it, both when you’re doing Pilates and in everyday life.

Supine is where you’re lying on your back on the mat, semi supine is where your feet are flat on the floor and your knees are bent.
